Underhanded and *************!

<p>I took out insurance with KP late in 2015. I had to claim for an accident on 27 May. It is now 5 weeks later & the claim has still not been finalised! I have been shunted from pillar to post, asked for all sorts of documentary evidence of previous claims history, letters from my previous insurer, proof of ownership, repeated telephonic questioning to explain over & over what previous claims I have had & the nature thereof, yet when I ask for information of the assessor's report & the quote from the repairer, I get no response & am told they cannot provide me a breakdown. To top it off, despite the claim not being finalised, they called me on Mon 27 Jun to say they want to collect my car with reg docs so they can have it S****PED! How is this possible when there is absolutely nothing wrong with the engine?! I refused, only to be called back by another person, asking me again for the location of my vehichle so they could take it away for s****ping! Subsequently, I have also been contacted by the other driver's insurer for my version of events & I have informed KP of this, yet they tell me they cannot/will not pursue as the process is too lengthy! What nonsense?! Are they not meant to be protecting me as their client & themselves?! I am now sitting with two seperate & different disclaimer docs from KP basically stating that if I sign, it is full & final settlement, with suspended cover until I repair my vehicle, yet I am still waiting for finalisation & a breakdown of how they arrived at the settlement amount. I am the insured & am entitled to all information relating to my claim. I will not be taken for a ride & their underhanded & suspicious dealings thus far will be exposed, that is certain!</p>
