Unbelievable!! After paying for car and household insurance? Claim after hijacking turned down by King Price?

Happy Lockdown to everyone!! Not such a happy one for me!! My son was hijacked in our driveway!! Unfortunately they couldn't get hold of the car as they became nervous abd only took the camera and equipment in the car, while they held him at gunpoint. As security was approaching they soed off with the car and house keys. We contacted police and insurance. We are covered for car abd household cover by King Price!! But they wanted R4000 access for the locksmith and it wasn't worth it as the locksmith charged R3500?? The other claim was for the camera and equipment, but King Price thus far is not interested in a payout? Well we've objected cause we are paying over R1000 per month for cover abd when unforeseen incidents happen one expects insurers to deliver?? Thus far nothing? So, it appears it's not worth it to have insurance at all? So, be careful out there!! Careful of the lockdown ********* as well as ************ insurers!!

Dear Sir /Madam
Thus far, I've had no response? We've been faithfully paying our premiums of over R1000 per month, but once we've claimed it is rejected? Firstly, they said we cannot claim for a locksmith, even when we wanted to claim the excess was 4000 so we paid for locksmith R3500 ourselves? As it didn't make sense to pay excess if locksmith cost was less than the excess. The second part of the claim was for the camera. First it was rejected, then rejected again as they said the camera was not in the house?? How strange? Whether in house or car, as long as it was on premises, it should be covered? This is ridiculous? I am still waiting for the final outcome.
Hoping this will be resolved soon?
I don't see the sense of having insurance if I still have to replace everything myself after an incident?? This is absolutely crazy?
