TRY TO CLAIM!!! Refuse to pay on first Claim
I would like to share with you my experience with King Price Insurance<br> <br> We had a big storm in Brakpan Yesterday 16/11/2015 at 14h30, to protect my car I jumped from my table to park it in my Garage to avoid hail damage, when I jumped up I bumped my laptop and it fell on the floor cracking my screen, This morning I phoned to hear if I can claim for my Laptop or maybe repair, I was told by King Price that this must be specified for them to launce a claim... I am so unimpressed with them at the moment after how many referrals I have sent to them after I saved them monies not to do repairs to my bakkie that could have had hail damage... I all the adds of them and treating you like royalty is Hors ****, Make sure before you appoint them as your Insurance Company...
As with most insurers, for an item to be covered for accidental damage the item would need to be specified. Regrettably you did not specify the item hence the outcome of your claim.
Please refer to page 42 of your policy wording the following excerpt : '' You're covered for accidental breakage of television sets, mirrors or glass that form part of any furniture.There's no cover however, for accidental damage to any other items. ''
