Tow Truck Driver takes almost 3 hours to come and assist - ****** at gun point while waiting for him to arrive

Yesterday 1/07/2022 at 7:34am - I broke down on the side of the road in Bramely, Johannesburg. I called King Price to organise a tow truck to come and assist me. The first issue was that it took a while to get through to someone to assist me and when I eventually did the line was so terrible. I had to whatsapp my location to a lady by the name of Mapula and after trying to get through to her again another gentleman landed up assisting me,

When I was trying to book the tow truck, I was asked where I would like to have the car towed too, I explained that it was a mechanical breakdown (which I wasn't sure if it was covered by my insurance) and just wanted to have the car towed home and then we could make a plan from there, the gentleman wanted to call me back in 5 minutes so I could decide where the car needed to be towed to. I explained to him that I was not in the safest area and that I just wanted him to book the tow truck and once I was home and safe we could decide what the next steps were and so he booked the tow truck.

I received the SMS of the details for the tow truck driver and then waited for him to arrive. Bongani (the tow truck driver) took almost 3 hours to arrive attend to my breakdown and as a result I was ****** by gun point while being stranded waiting for him to arrive,

To add insult to injury, after finally being able to flag someone down to call my husband, my family arrived before the tow truck did, and upon calling King Price again, my husband was told that a Kelly had already been helped, when my husband explained that that was not the case and if it had been I would not have been ****** if I had been helped, the person on the line then called Bongani again and was told that he had come to where I was stranded and there was no car to assist.

Again this is not true as I had sent Mapula my location via whatsapp and I had told the gentleman on the phone my location. Also after I had been ******, my husband had received my location from King Price to come and help me, Why then, if my husband used the same location that I had given to King Price was he able to find me, but Bongani the tow truck driver was not?

I am hugely disappointed in what has happed and the huge loss and trauma that I had to go through as a direct result of the negligence on the part of King Price!

To date, I have laid a complaint with King Price and not one person has bothered to contact me regarding my experience.
