Third party insurance claim

Good day.

I was unfortunately involved in a car accident around September 2021. The guy I was in an accident with was insured by kingprice. He told me he had a 3rd party insurance which was going to fix my car. The car was taken to an assessment center. Kingprice agents requested documents and Quotes of which I provided via email. My worry is that I've been calling them almost every third day as to know about the status of my car as that car provides for my daily bread. I was just told last week that my car is written off and it will be auctioned. I don't even know the reasons behind that decision.
