The Worst Treatment Ever

I had the unfortunate experience of losing my Mountain Bike through a break in at my home in Dec 2016. I am currently insured with King Pirce and have been since 2013. All of my vehicles and household contents are insured with them. When I reported the theft the interrigation began and they did everything in their power to catch me out in the tellephonic interviews. Eventually they reqested an original invoice from me on the 23 Dec 2016 and gave me 3 days to produce it after I had informed them that I no longer was in possesion of it and that the business where I had purchased it no longer existed. I had already furnished them with photos of the bike, photos of me on the bike and records of racesand rides that I had done on the bike. They sent me a threatening letter to cancel my insurance and not pay out.

I was lucky enough to find the owner of the of the bike shop and he was kind enough to search his archives and sent me the original invoice. King Price then agreed to pay out and I waited for over a week before I had to contact them and ask when the matter would be settled. The matter was then settled.

Unfortunately my son then had an accident with his car on the 15Jan 2017 and the whole process has started again . I am not sure how it will be resolved but can strongly recommend that anybody reading this not insure with King Price because when you claim they make the process as uncomfoftable and difficult as possible

King Price service is shockingly bad and I now understand why they offer cheap premiums.

DO NOT INSURE WITH KING PRICE

Hi Craig

We are really sad you are disappointed in us, unfortunately as with most insurers certain validations are required in order to complete a claim.

With regards to your current claim our claims department is busy with the validations and we hope to have the matter finalised soon. We will keep you posted on the progress.

Royal regards

The kings court

Your response does not even begin to explain the shocking treatment of your customers. Threatening letters are not the way to conduct business. There are better ways to deal with customers than threats and bullying.

Obviously cheap premiums mean shocking service.
