So i got a very nice email from THE KING:

"Just as we promised, we’ve helped you save money by making sure that your premium has decreased every month for the past 12 months. "(My words: listen how THE KING PRIDES HIMSELF - SAVING MONEY - R2 - R5 per month - what a laugh)

"Now, of course, it’s that time of year when we have to review your policy.

We’ve reassessed your risk profile, and taken into account factors which are beyond our control, such as inflation and the rising costs of repairs and parts, all of which has resulted in your updated premium." (my words: the policy decreases by R2 - R5 per month but goes up 230.00 for the next 12 months - DOES THE KING THINKS WE A BUNCH OF FOOLS - I DONT KNOW TO WHO THIS IS ALL HAPPENING BUT REALLY "I AM NO FOOL, NEITHER AM I ONE OF THE KING'S FOOLS.

So I believe that this is an email every client of THE KING gets every year. The boast and pride themselves in seeing to their clients savings in premiums. Well, i cant agree with this as THE KING is a total rip-off. Scoring a client R2 - R5 per month and then at the year end of their policy they want to increase it with R230.00 per month. What a laughing stock this is. Does THE KING thinks all off his clients are fools as (this is how I feel after getting this shocking increase in premium). How the hell can a premium of R566.00 go up to R799.00 (about 30%)

THE KING HAS JUST BECOME THE WORST OFFICER - RIP-OFF

Here's the thing, like all insurers, we too need to implement policy rerates to keep up the rising costs of parts, labour rates, repairs, inflation etc... Which even we can't ignore!

These costs aren't linked to the value of your car, which as you know, depreciates monthly. And unlike other insurers, King Price takes this into account and DECREASES your comprehensive car insurance premium every month. Our retentions department will be in contact to discuss.
