The King of **** Promises

I have been insured with King Price insurance since I bought my car in 2022 November last year. Yesterday the 17th of August 2023; my Volvo XC40 starts giving me problems with the electronics and as result refuses to start. I call King Price insurance for roadside assist to help me tow the car to the dealership. They refuse to assist me on the basis that their policy states that the car is already safe in the estate. Therefore they cannot tow it to the dealership. I have to pay for the towing company myself. Then I ask Callcenter agent as to why I was not told this when I first signed up with them last year. They have debiting my account for almost a year now and now that I need them to help me they cannot. Looks like I will be cancelling this policy. Thank God I wasn’t in accident or hijacked because clearly they wouldn’t honour their side of the agreement then I would have been in a worse situation financially.

And what they don’t know is that I own a billboard company. I shall be advertising on one of my billboards how the so called “king” of insurance is merely ripping people off with *****ulent and **** promises. No wonder their premiums are so cheap. This is because they only take your money and never plan to assist you as a client. I’m cancelling this insurance. And good luck if you sign with them. It’s a good thing my other cars are insured with ABSA Direct. At least they raised to the challenge whenever I needed help.
