Terrible service followed by fantastic service

I had received terrible treatment from KP in respect of the write off of my vehicle, however when I contacted them to cancel the policy, I was put through to the retentions dept. There I was assisted by a very friendly gentleman called Navesan Moodley.

He was extremely helpful and professional. He assisted with reviewing the claim and as well as my current premium.

As a result of his good service, I decided to remain with KP. Let's hope it stays that way....

I am still awaiting feedback on a query that was already submitted to Navesan on 1 JULY 2016 and I again followed up on 4 July. Still with no response. I then sent another mail noting that I will now yet again be forced to escalate this matter. Not surprisingly Navesan answered within 10 minutes. An email confirming the decision made by KP to make the payment of R2000. Despite my various follow-ups mentioned above, I have still not received this payment nor the updated policy schedule as usual your claims ppl have simply not done their jobs.
This is particularly disappointing to say the least. Especially in light of the fact that I initially contacted KP to cancel the policy but was in turn referred to the retentions department. I did not ask to be put through to the retentions dept but was forced to do so.
It would definitely appear that Navesan simply tried to keep my business and get a HELLOPETER compliment before month end (as he also blatantly told me). The fact that he actually had the audacity to ask me for the compliment repeatedly over the phone as well as email is very unprofessional to say the least but I chose to ignore that and submitted the compliment as he requested. His blatant insincerity was so obvious on the call but I again chose to ignore it. However, I would definitely suggest that a QA supervisor listen to the call.
In addition to the aforesaid, I asked Navesan for the recordings of the between myself and KP. Needless to say, these have also not been forthcoming.
I expect confirmation that the payment of the R2000 has been processed by close of business and will also now definitely be cancelling my policy despite whatever story KP spins me again and be referring this matter to the Ombudsman for ST insurance as well as the FSB.
