Terrible Service and Delays - Claim CKP***/3 (Still Paying My Premiums)

I am extremely frustrated with the ongoing delays and lack of communication regarding my claim (CKP***/3). My claim was registered on 6th August 2024, and the initial estimated completion date was 12th September. As of today, 13th November 2024, I still do not have my vehicle, and no clear completion date has been provided. This situation is completely unacceptable, and I want to outline the timeline and issues that have caused this inconvenience.

Timeline of Events: 6th August 2024: My claim was registered with King Price. The initial estimated completion date was set for 12th September 2024.

September 2024: Throughout September, I was told that the vehicle would be ready soon, but the completion date was constantly changed without any clear reason or explanation. I called King Price agents like Sinqobile Khuzwayo, Patricia Masilela, and Nomkhosi Khuzwayo for updates. Each time, I was informed that they sent requests to Slabbert Auto for information, but nothing happened. I kept getting the same responses from King Price agents, but nothing was done to resolve the issue.

October 2024: The delays continued. I had to keep following up and calling Slabbert Auto and AutoMagic, but still no clear answers. At this point, my frustration grew as I had to waste airtime calling them. No one was proactive in contacting me with updates. The dates kept changing, and the reasons for the delays were never communicated properly.

November 2024: On 6th November, Nomkhosi Khuzwayo from King Price followed up with an email, stating that the vehicle had gone for wheel alignment, and was awaiting a report. However, there was still no indication of when the vehicle would actually be completed. On 7th November, Sammy van der Walt from AutoMagic sent an email to Youlandi at Slabbert Auto for an update. Again, no clear response was provided. On 8th November, I was forced to call King Price myself for an update, as no one had contacted me. I was very disappointed with the response I received, and it felt like King Price was making excuses for the service providers, rather than taking responsibility for the delay.

Main Issues: Repeated Delays Without Communication: The vehicle was initially supposed to be completed by 12th September. Yet, despite the passing months, I still do not have my car. The date was changed multiple times, but I was never told why. No one has communicated the reasons for these delays.

Poor Communication from All Parties: I have had to call multiple times to get updates. Every time I speak to an agent, it feels like I’m getting the same excuse without any real action. No one from King Price, Slabbert Auto, or AutoMagic has been proactive in providing me with the necessary information.

Lack of Apology or Accountability: I have yet to receive a sincere apology or any explanation about the challenges or why it’s taken so long. No one has acknowledged the inconvenience this has caused.

What I Expect: A clear, final completion date for the repairs, with no further delays. A full explanation of why my claim has taken so long and why no one communicated the issues earlier. A genuine apology for the poor service and constant delays. Immediate action to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future. I have been a paying customer of King Price, and the way this claim has been handled is deeply disappointing. The lack of communication and the ongoing delays have caused significant inconvenience, and I expect better service and accountability moving forward.

Thank you for responding, but your reply does not address the core issue: the complete lack of communication and accountability throughout this process.

On the same day I posted this review, I also sent an email to your customer care department, yet I have still received no word from them nor the service provider. The last update from AutoMagic was on 7th November, saying the vehicle was going for wheel alignment. Let’s be realistic here— how long does it take to complete wheel alignment?

This kind of vague response is exactly what has been frustrating me for months. You say the service provider will contact me, but I’ve heard that before and nothing happens. When will I get a proper update on my claim? When will my vehicle be ready? Why does it take so long, and why does nobody communicate these delays in advance?

I am tired of vague promises. I need clear answers, immediate action, and real accountability for the poor service I’ve experienced.

I am not happy with the service I got from King Price and Automagic. As a King Price customer, I do not feel like I am receiving the "royalty treatment" that your brand promises.

After my car was initially "fixed," I reported a noise issue, but no immediate action was taken. I have had to repeatedly contact your team for updates, as I was not kept informed. On January 17, 2025, I took the car for another assessment and was assured the matter would be resolved within 48 hours. On January 21, after I emailed for feedback, Altus (automagic) stated that the issue would be finalized that day. It is now January 24, and I am still waiting for an update.

There is also no intervention from King price; so much for "Royalty Service I deserve."
Its been over 3 months since I complained about the poor service. King Price does not seem to be bothered but is happy to collect premiums every month.

This has caused me a lot of trouble. The service is slow, and nobody keeps me updated.
