Slow in settling claims - no feedback to customers on progress or confirmation that claim will be settled.

We catered at family festival on the 2nd of March and came home to our home burgled. Due to having to be at the event again till late the next day we could only report the case to the police at 12:30 the Saturday night, who said they would send officer in the morning to come and take our statement and it was late and we were tired, they never arrived the Sunday and we had to leave for another event. As soon as we were done that Sunday we went to the police and opened a case. When we got our police case number reported the case on the 7th of March to King Price.I stand to be corrected but an assessor only came to see us on the 14th or 15th of March. It has now been 17 work days and 23 days in total that our claim was not resolved. We received no feedback as to the progress of our claim. When I called last week to ask what is happening, I was told it will finalised by the end of this week, which is today. I was with the same insurance broker for 15 years and decided to look around to shop for a better premimium and was advised by several insurance providers and even a ex King Price employee who now works for one of the insurance firms that he left the employee of King Price because of their track record for settling claims. I thought it was just a ploy to get my business, but I can clearly see its not. The service thus far leaves much to desire!
