Shocking experience with King Price Insurance

<p>Please please read this before you take out cover with King Price. If something sounds too good to be true then it is too good to be true! I am so disappointed in King Price as over the past few months I've been singing their praises both with family and colleagues but I guess you will only get to know the extent of good service when you have to submit a claim. When my courtesy car was delivered for me I was quite impressed and I made sure that the car had a Collision Damage Waiver as I can't take risk of driving any vehicle without being covered. Three days before I return this car, the front bumper got damaged and I then authorised them to debit my card for the maximum liability of R2500 and whatever else was owing of which they did. Now I receive a letter of demand from the rental car company advising that I need to pay over R10 000 for the damage as they are a "self insured" rental company. I was so shocked and referred the matter to my insurance as my insurance agreement is with them and I received this vehicle through them. Whilst my own vehicle was not even on the road for a full month for repairs, King Price was only too happy to keep debiting me for insurance premiums knowing very well that I'm not even insured. I've sent proof of my rental agreement to King Price that explicitly states that Collision Damage Waiver - Super is included and Theft Loss Waiver - Super is included but after a couple of days no one is willing to assist and meanwhile I'm being hounded by the rental company as if I'm a ********. I am utterly disappointed at King Price for not having their customer's best interest at heart and for obviously cutting corners to make the maximum profits.</p>
