Ridiculous Rental Policy

<p>Although Beverley - the claims advisor working on the claim - gave me good service, the policy that a Rental car needs to be returned as soon as the claim is processed is ridiculous. </p> <p>I have a 30 day car rental option on my car. This car was involved in an accident last week monday, and I submitted the claim on Tuesday and got the Rental car on the same day. The decision of the insurance company was that the car should be written off and now that they have completed the claim (9 days later) and have paid the settlement they insist that the rental car be returned now. </p> <p>I have been paying for a 30 Day rental on my policy, am still waiting for the settlement to clear into my account and now I will be sitting without a vehicle. How can they expect me to have replaced my vehicle within such a short time, without money? </p> <p>This is just ridiculous. A 30 day car hire should = 30 days of car hire.</p>
