Ridiculous King Price increase leads to better quote from a competitor

After some time with King Price, a pleasant experience initially, until the increase. The increase was a ridiculous 13.9%. After my queries, the reason was my windscreen claim (NOTE - No accident or theft claims). King Price wanted to recover the full amount in a short space of time with such an increase. After a review of my policy, King Price was not willing to fix which forced me to go to market and find quotes and to my surprise, I got the same deal for R1229.83 less than King Price. King Price could have done a normal increase and I would have accepted it, but they have given away R5136 per month because of R436/month extra increase they wanted. It just shows how they think! Lesson here, don't let good marketing and friendly service fool you, there are options out in the market! And I had 5 cars insured.....
