I cannot believe I would be given such an appalling treatment by an insurance company I have been paying every single month without a single default. I was involved in an accident and i was left stranded on the side of a dark road with no residence in the middle of the bush sitting alone hopeless for the whole night. The only available tow truck was in Malelane which was about over 3hrs from where i was hence it arrived to me almost in the morning. After submitting my claim it took king price forever to access the damage in my car I had to continuously call them for progress. I had to wait for the longest of time, when they eventually got back to me they told me my car was accessed and written off without even bothering themselves with an explaination as to why the car is a write off. Initially they were willing to pay, they asked for the settlement letter from the bank, then after realizing the settlement amount they changed the story and come back rejecting the claim saying one of my tyres was not in good condition. I asked them how so because the accident was not caused by the tyre but i got into the accident when i was avoiding a speeding car that was overtaking coming straight on my lane to hit me head on then i decided to swerve the car off the road trying to protect myself. The brutal treatment didnt end with that, they shocked the hell out of life when they refused to tow my car back to Joburg where i stay as my car was towed down to Nelspruit where the tow truck was coming from. I had to fight with them to bring my car back.
