Really disappointed with the communication, the reason for my rejected claim and the length in which this claim was dealt with. A month for an IPad claim is unreasonable
From me raving about King Price to absolutely disliking the company all in the space of 6 months. My first experience was a pleasant one but this time round I'm shocked. Loadshedding damaged of my appliances last year and with no hesitation it was sorted out almost immediately. This time round my IPad fell victim to Eskom bad management. I submit my claim and almost instantly get rejected. They say my IPad isn't covered. They say it shows the battery charging icon when plugged in but I checked the device before it was collect more than once. The IPad was plugged in to charge when loadshedding occurred and I forgot to unplug it. When the electricity came back on the device died. It had 20% life on it when I plugged it in. After I checked it, it did nothing. How is King Price finding battery power, charging it or even getting it to turn on?
They replaced my MacBook for the same damage so how is this different? Also the correspondence for this claim has been a one sided affair as they just went quiet after they rejected my claim. I've emailed, requested call backs but nothing. Only after resorting to Twitter did they start contacting me.
A new broom sweeps well and in this case I don't disagree. I'll be seeking coverage elsewhere
King Price don't be dishonest! Be the solution, not part of the problem!

I'll rather have my IPad fixed out of my pocket than deal with your underhanded company. Also if it's displaying the battery icon meaning it needs to be charged then my IPad is working. I should then get this exact same thing when I plug my charger into it. I await the return of my property
