Quick to debit client accounts but slow in refund
I have had a policy with Kingprice from June 2013 (car insured: Peugeot 207 -1.4 VVT and the authorized debit day for the premium was the 25th day, monthly. On February 2015, the premium (R1 092.63) was debited from my account on 26 February 2015 and on the 27 February 2015 I cancelled my cover on the Peugeot 207 as I had sold the car and bought another car, a Peugeot 208 . I then requested that the cover for the Peugeot 207 be cancelled and app**** for cover for the Peugeot 208 (existing/current cover) and an amount of R2 042.44 was debited in my account on 28 February 2015.

My understanding is that I am supposed to receive a refund for the portion relating to the period which I was not covered for in relation to the Peugeot 207 (in essence I was not covered for the full period in relation to the Peugeot 207).

In my previous correspondences with the Kingprice consultants I recall being told that I would receive the refund within 10 business days but its already 8 months and no refund was received. This is just not fair business.
