Proof of ownership means nothing

I have just registered a claim for my cellphone that was ****** and unfortunately I lost the slip but the phone was purchased with the value card i received from King Price for a previous claim. I have the box, earphones (still in it's package) and the charger/usb cable. Now apparently this is not proof of ownership.Mmmmm let's think hear. I gave my IMEI number up when I added the new phone and it's the same now. Why would i use someone else's IMEI number block their phone and go through the pain in doing a sim swop. Jeepers I can't think Gideon Galloway had this in mind when treating customers. I am also in insurance and I know exactley how the process works. He should really do something about this service. I have no phone I am all alone and honestly I am scared because I can't contact anyone should there be trouble. So if something happens to me at least i can say it's justified. My claim would not be paid because i did not have a piece of paper but the actual items and oh gosh yes they can trace my purchase with the value card they send me. Gideon this is my second claim with you company and this is the second complaint I had to write about the service. I want this sorted out immediately because this will be taken further. I am in enough of a panic as it is and stressed I don't need people giving me **** when I can prove I owned the freaken phone your company gave me the freaken value card for. Does King Price know about TCF because clearly things are going sideways.

Hi Natanye
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, our sincerest apologies for the negative experience . We note your claim is still open and no descision has been made as yet, it is standard practice on cellphone claims to ask for proof of purchase as the value card is a card with funds which means anything can be pruchased with it much like a voucher. Rest assured we have taken your concerns into account and escelated your complaint to management in claims to look into the matter and provide you with feedback.
Royal regards
