My Wife's vehicle got damaged during the students protests over the University fees increase on Friday October 23, 2015 at the Pretoria CBD. The matter was reported with both the Police and the insurance, King Price. The incident caused a lot of trauma on my wife given the amount of violence and the brutal ******** elements displayed. The King Price Insurance appointed a competent and empathetic representative to assess the amount of damaged caused in the person of Mr Goolam Vallee. Mr Vallee was empathetic enough to first be interested how my wife was coping after the incident. Second, he was able to be flexible with time for the meeting understanding that the sanctioned assessment time of assessment maybe delayed given the condition of the car after the attack and he kept following up without putting us under pressure. During assessment he also provided us a space to present to him how the car was prior and post the attack and further continue with his assessment. This experience is far more different from what we are used to wherein an assessor conduct an assessment unilaterally, with a notebook, just ticking boxes without engaging the owner. I thus recommend Mr Vallee highly.
