Premiums debited after cancellation

So King Price promises "super cheap premiums that decrease monthly and award winning royal service", however my experience with them has left a lot to be desired. My premiums went up by 23% from Dec 2016 to Jan 2017 (way more than inflation) without any formal communication. I called in to request that they review my premiums with the aim to getting them reduced but I was told that my premium was the best I could get with them. I then decided to shop around for and found myself cheaper insurance. I called King Price on the 20th of Feb to cancel my policy with them around 2:45pm. I was told that a gentlemen by the name of Bryce will call me back within the next hour, needeless to say I never got that call from Bryce. I called again at around 3:50pm and Bryce was still busy with a customer and he will call me before he knocked off at 5pm. Again no call from Bryce. I decided to call the next morning and got my policy cancelled and I was assured by the agent I spoke to that no further debits will occur after the cancellation date. I then received an SMS on the 23rd of Feb confirming the cancellation. On the 25th of Feb King Price decided to debit my account with R539.68 and again on the 27 Feb with R63.51. I'm not sure whether they thought I would not notice these debits because they are smaller than what I was paying as my monthly premiums. I'm certainly not happy with their service and I'm glad I chose to move but it's just frustrating that cancelling my policy had to come with a lot of shadyness from their part.
