PREMIUM INCREASE
Just a warning to anyone thinking of changing your car insurance to King Price. The initial quote will be perfect but the premium will DOUBLE in 12 months ! Well, such is the case with me (and no, only ONE claim of R2500 in those 12 months) so it is not a case where I have claimed a lot. Besides the increase, the excess amount has also increased from R1500 to R2500. I can accept and understand an annual increase but an increase of 100% cannot be justified

03 Jan 2025, 08:31Hi Deon,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. Please understand that there are a lot of factors that go into a premium increase. These include factors such as changes to your risk profile and claims history to just name a few.
That said, we always want to make sure you are getting the best possible deal, so I have sent a copy of your message on to our Client Care division who will be in touch shortly to discuss your policy.
Royal regards,
The king’s court
