poor service
Early December, a driver insured by King Price Insurance said I came from nowhere when she crashed into my uninsured loan vehicle . She acknowledged that she was in the wrong and therefore gave me her insurance details in order to make a third party claim. I have submitted the paper work . King Price legal representative, Thys Maree, needed proof of payment or the registration documents which meant I had to pay for the vehicle. I have contacted him on numerous occasions without a positive response. Telephone messages and emails often don't receive a response. Almost 3 months and their clients vehicle is still in Elegance Square body shop. I know this because when Thys does decide to answer my calls or emails? he highlights that my legal claim will only receive attention once their clients claim has been finalised. King Price seems to barely care about their client and wondering if I will ever be attended to. Nightmare! First time I ever have received such poor service from a short term insurer. Just shows there are reasons why some people in the insurance industry wish me luck when they hear King Price. I'm not a customer of King Price.

Kindly note as you have elected to claim directly from us and not from your own insurer you have entered a legal process which can be a lengthy one. We in no way requested that you purchase the vehicle, we requested that you supply us with proof of ownership or provide us with the details of the owner of the vehicle as only the owner of the vehicle involved may submit a liability claim. As advised we are only able to proceed once our policy holders claim has been finalised.
We further note you have supp**** us with the required documentation and the claim is currently in process, Thys has kept you informed of the process going forward. We trust the above is in order. Should you require any further elucidation please do not hesitate to contact.
