Please I need your help asap

My husband had a car insured with king price, however he missed one premium and had an accident within the same month they refused to cover the car they said the premium is not active after paying all the months now he has to pay for car that does not exist for the next fours years. Is anyway you could assist in this matter please. The worst part is that the car is under my name.
