please be carefull when you take policy with king price they will cancel your police anytime and make you high risk

I have a Car Insurance policy with King Price , policy number KP*** for just under a year now.

About 3 weeks ago I called the claims department to log a claim for my Rim and tyre. I hit a pot hole which damaged the rim and tyre. I was told that the tyre will be replaced and that the rim will be repaired. 2 days later I received an email from the Rim and Department stating that my claim is not valid under Tyre and Rim. I was asked to contacted the comprehensive claims department. On reading this I called the rim and tyre department immediately, enquiring why my claim was invalid. I was told that the pothole damage is not covered by their Rim and Tyre department. I informed them that I was covered and after a while asked the lady to please send me the recording of the conversation that took place between me and the sales consultant that sold the cover to me.

3 to 4 days later I received the recording, and on hearing the conversation, the consultant clearly states that I will be covered for tyre replacement and Rim repair for damages caused by any hazard on the road, example pothole , glass etc.

From the rim and tyre department they are not accepting that I am covered. From Comprehensive cover, claims are asking me to pay access of R4500 which is more that the prices of me buying new items.

Firstly I cannot understand why my claim is not being dealt with by rim and tyre department? When clearly I am covered. I have spent my time making numerous calls over the past 2 weeks. Always given the run around, a supervisor is never available to take my calls, nor return my calls. Suddenly I received an email stating that my policy is cancelled. I am in total shock on seeing this. The email states that I am high risk, this is defamatory as this is my 1st claim!!!!

This is totally unacceptable. After paying my premiums timeously and having no claims.
