Overpromise and under-deliver on referral fee

A friend of mine referred me to King Price Insurance and he said he will receive a referral fee if I join. I done so and notified the consultant upon joining and said once my premium runs they will pay him. He gave me his policy number is KP ********** . Now he believes I haven’t sent his details through because now I am getting the run-round from King Price Insurance with regards to his referral fee. If they over-promise and under-deliver which I am experiencing now I can imagine what I’ll go through when claiming.
