Over promises and under delivering.
My husband was involved in a car accident on the 3rd of February 2022 where the accident was reported and the lady that assisted us on the 3rd was proactive and really helpful however on the 4th we spoke to another lady who then advised that we will get feedback regarding the claim within 7 business days. To our surprise on the 15th when we phoned to enquire since no one seemed to call and advise what is happening regarding the claim. We discovered that the car was not yet assessed, then we were advised the query was escalated. The tracking device showed the car was only moved from where it was parked on the 16th which is unacceptable. On the 18th my husband phoned again and was referred to speak to the assessor who advised the car is written off and should wait for the insurer to contact him. On Monday the 21st my husband phone Kingprice again and was advised that a claim takes 14 business days to be concluded for outcome. On the 23rd which is the 15th business day. The insurer which is King price contacts my husband to advise that another assessor was appointed instead of giving us the claim outcome which I find unacceptable. They have already taken too much of time to conclude this claim and believe the assessor was supposed to be appointed simultaneously rather than inconveniencing the client. It’s as if they are looking for reasons not to pay out while I’m being inconvenienced. I now question their sense of urgency in assisting their clients who pays premiums on time. They over promise and under deliver. They don’t make follow ups unless the client contacts them which is completely unfair for my husband in this case! I haven’t experienced joy in dealing with them thus far. The agent I spoke to yesterday promised that the assessor will call me back which never happened. King price is not what it sells.
