Out of service

The screen on my iPhone got damaged when it dropped & was horribly cracked. An easy enough thing to fix. It takes an iFix, weFix or any dedicated repair centre under an hour to repair.

But I have all risks insurance on my device so I figured I would claim for the first time... This was in January. I was informed upon making a claim that there was only ONE authorised King Price repair centre & that it was in Johannesburg.

Something that was not mentioned when I opted for my device insurance over a year ago.

I have just received my device back from Johannesburg, where the one & only King Price approved repair centre, has had it.

This is the second time it's been sent down to me.

The first time there was an issue with the replacement screen - Which was odd as the contact from the repair centre said that they decided to keep the phone an extra couple of days to replace their replacement screen because she wasn't happy with it's quality. (Odd considering they use "Only Genuine Apple" parts). In addition the back of the device was lose an wobbly and had to be pushed back in. But over and above all of this the device could no longer pick up reception...

The same make & model phone with the same service provider will have full signal &

The repaired phone would have 2-3 bars.

If the same make & model phone with the same service provider signal drops bellow 5 bars then

The repaired phone would have NO SERVICE.

We immediately notified King Price who requested we send the device back - they repaired the screen and fixed the issue with the back of the device. But declared "Nothing was wrong with the signal" - after they - "sat at their desk and tested it for an hour".

As mentioned we have just got it back.

There is still no signal.

AND

When the device vibrates it sounds like it's rattling inside.

King Price has requested that I send the device back for more tests.

I have not had my device for a full month.

The device has travelled over 6000km being couriered to-and-from the only authorized repair centre

The device has had 3 screen replacements

The device had visibly lose parts.

The device now has audibly lose parts.

Then device still has NO SIGNAL.

This is unacceptable.
