Not treating customers fairly / Rejection Driven Culture

Dear King Price

I would like to know since when do you reject a client's claim without even assessing the vehicle? How is this treating the customer fairly? Last time I checked, a stone through the vehicle's radiator is a insured peril. I am sure OSTI would love to hear how King Price rejected a clients claim without even seeing the vehicle first. I registered the claim om Monday the 14th November 2022, and 4 days went by without any communication. On day 4 we got a phone call from a investigation telling us that the claim has been rejected. Within those 4 days nobody even made a effort to even check the vehicle or even assess it. This is our 1st claim ever since we have been clients of King Price and we have been with them for years. On top of that, the investigator stated that they do not want to assess the car as it will cost them money? What? Surely a big company like King Price can afford our vehicle to be assessed, as currently we still don't know what's wrong with the vehicle. Perhaps next time, reject a client's claim after you've assessed the vehicle, please, so that we all have the facts in front of us, just a suggestion. The company seems to have a rejection driven culture. This just makes the company look cheap. Nevertheless, I will be taking my business elsewhere after this incident to a company that at least assesses their vehicles before making a thumb suck call on a claim over the phone.
