Not happy with the Premium, kindly cancel the insurance.

In November I received an email from King Price advising that my premium will increase starting from December 2022, I then sent an email advising that I'm not happy with the new Premium. I have been with King Price for 3 years and I haven't logged any claim since my car has been insured with them however the insurer keeps on increasing my Premium ever 3/6 months. How can I be paying close to R1400 for an i20 2017 Model??? I know Premiums are risk dependent however I have never logged any claims with you guys and I'm not high risk as I'm working from home, and I hardly go out. Another service Providers Premium was only R780 PM however I choose to stick with King Price and sent an email to you guys advising that if you do not reduce the Premium, I will cancel my cover as Miway quoted me far lesser than you guys. I've been too patient with KP its time for me to opt out and give Miway a chance since they are willing to offer a reasonable Premium.

Kindly reverse September, October and November debit orders please and cancel My cover.

Hi Ntombi,

Here's the thing, like all insurers, we too need to implement policy rerates to keep up the rising costs or parts and repairs... Which even we can't ignore!

These costs aren't linked to the value of your car, which as you know, depreciates monthly. And unlike other insurers, King Price takes this into account and DECREASES your comprehensive car insurance premium every month.

But you know we do our best to save you as much money as possible.... So I have sent a copy of your message on to our Retentions division, who will be in touch shortly to discuss your policy.

Royal regards,
The king and his court
