No settlement but i must return the rental

After two weeks of endless investigations, sending paperwork, drilling my friends. I was notified by the investigator that my claim was successful and that I would receive a call for the person responsible for finalizing settlements.<br> <br> After 24 hours of no further contact from King Price I took it upon myself to get another settlement figure from my bank and send it the their general email. Someone called me and then advised that she would escalate it to the right department. The following day I get an SMS to say my settlement has been paid and to return the rental vehicle within 24 hours. <br> <br> I then called KP again and queried this sms. I was informed that indeed ABSA has been paid and i would also be receiving a certain sum of money (40k) and that I should return the vehicle. I then requested proof of this payment but it was not provided. In the evening i received an sms confirming a deposit of R153.41 from KP.<br> <br> In the morning I called requesting an explanation. Florance did not seem to understand my frustration of having to return the loan car with my payment of the settlement or proof thereof.
