No premium deductions

I took up a car and household cover with King Price Insurance last month. The consultant told me that my 1st premiums will be debited on April 1st. By April 7nd nothing no premium was debited from my account. I then contacted them through their Facebook page. A lady called me after 3 days to assure me that I'm covered and need not worry as is not my fault. I asked if I should make a manual payment which she advised not to as the premium will be deducted on the 15th. Yesterday was the 15th and still no premium was deducted. What is happening with this company. Maybe I should go back to my previous insurer.
