No insurance???
Good day my car was in an accident,Kingprice said we must take it to Auto Panelbeaters Ermelo..So I did..Then Kingprice phoned and said they gave approval..And the Panelbeaters will contact us..This morning 19-06-2018 I phoned ..The Panelbeaters said they didnt get anything..So my wife phone Kingprice again,the lady said they gave it to Silo Panelbeaters..But the car never was taken there..Then I phoned Silo Panelbeaters,as they are very good..But only the lady informed me that I must pay R16000-00 excess,and the damage only is R23000-00..So how this works?I must pay in R16000-00 and Kingprice only R7000???For what do we have insurance then??Not very good from Kingprice..They told my wife the car can stand broken then?????What kind of insurance is this?????

Thank you for your comments and allowing us the opportunity to respond. We have listened to the sales call and the 10 % of retail value excess was clearly discussed with Mrs. Hattingh whom selected this excess option as she wanted a cheaper premium at the time of sale. We note a manager in sales also confirmed the excess option at sales stage with the policy holder whom accepted. We further note that the schedule was emailed to Mrs Hattingh at inception of cover which clearly states the excess applicable in the event of a claim. Considering the above it is evident that the policy holder is and was well aware of the applicable excess in the event of a claim.
