No feedback / assistance on claim repair warrantee
I am severely disappointed in the service received by King Price insurance. I used to be one of their clients and had repairs done on my vehicle in 2024. The repairs have a three year warrantee as I was told by the supplier. These same repairs now seem to be faulty, causing my vehicle to be unable to lock properly which is a severe safety hazard. I have now spoken to three different King Price representatives and logged two complaints, and have received no feedback from King Price on how these repairs can be rectified. I have messages linking the faulty lock directly to the claim repairs done. The service received really is unacceptable..

14 May 2026, 12:42Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, we are truly sorry to hear about the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced. We understand how concerning a vehicle locking issue can be, especially when it impacts your safety, and we sincerely regret the dissatisfaction caused by the lack of feedback thus far. Please be assured that the service provider will be in contact with you to further discuss your concerns and provide clarity where possible. That said, after reviewing the details of your claim and the repairs completed in 2024, we must respectfully advise that neither King Price nor the appointed repairer is able to assist with the current boot lock issue. The repairer did not perform any work on the boot lock during the original repairs, and as such, they cannot be held responsible for this fault nor can a warranty be app**** to a component that was not included in the scope of work at the time. We do understand that this may be disappointing news, and we appreciate your understanding in this regard.
