My Royal nightmare with KING PRICE

King price took my car on the 3rd of December and told me it will be assessed. For 3 weeks it was "assessed not" right up until Christmas time. KING PRICE then told me they will fix my car in January. I told them if that's the case. I'll fix the car myself because I need my car ASAP. I paid for a tow to collect my car. KING PRICE told the Quality Assured (one of their panel beaters) is closed because they went to a funeral. Fine I understand. I called the following week. King Price tells me that Quality Assured is on holiday. So my car was held hostage for the entire course of the holidays.

Assuming they are back from their lovely holidays, on the 5th of jan 2026 I called KING PRICE requesting my car. They didn't remember me. After being tossed from one agent to another i eventually found my car at Quality Assured. Obviously dusty and not fixed.

The lady at Quality Assured has the audacity to tell me that im stupid to fix the car myself. King Price will not fix my car because ive made them angry. Wow. Im thinking its been over a month now. They are the ones that are angry. Eventually my mechanic towed my car after they were extremely rude to him and had given him a hard time for towing in their parking lot.

Hi Monde,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced; this is not the level of service we aim to deliver.

We acknowledge that there were unacceptable delays in the assessment and handling of your vehicle from early December through to January. The lack of timely communication during the festive period, as well as the difficulty you encountered when attempting to retrieve your vehicle, is deeply concerning to us.

We have escalated this matter internally for full investigation, including engagement with both the handling claims team and the panel beater involved.

Once again, we apologise for your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback as it helps us improve.

Royal regards,
The Kings Court
