Money taken from account for cancelled policy. DO NOT USE KING PRICE!!!!!!!!!!

<p>I had taken a policy with King Price in January with the start date at the beginning of March. I then called later that day and spoke to Linda Nopece in retention and she advised she would see what she can do in terms of premium and call me back the following morning as my current insurer had given me a better deal. Not surprisingly I recieved no call so I called and spoke to Gareth from retention whom I advised to cancel the policy. Gareth advised that the policy had been cancelled and that I would not have money taken from me in March. linda then called min after that and i told her due to her lack of diligence and high premium I had cancelled the policy. Fast forward to March and over R1000 has been debited for a policy i was advised was cancelled! I called immediately and I got through to Ayanda in Roadside Assist as I had called after hours who was so far the only one who kept her promise as she said she would get me ca call back today and that is exactly what happened! Props to Ayanda. I then spoke to another gentleman in retention who apologised for the premium deduction as it seems the policy was just never cancelled. I didnt get his name as the line was bad but he promised me a manager would be emailing me to confirm details of the refund and cancellation and now almost 3 hours later I have still heard nothing! This is unacceptable service and I would strongly advise against Insuring ANYTHING with King Price!!!!</p>
