Mislead by Royalty

<p>I called King Price on Friday for a quote on comprehensive motor insurance. I received a quote of R432 on a R2500 excess and R398 on a R4500 excess. I called my own insurers to see if they could meet or better my current premium with no joy. Monday I decided to take the cover with King Price and called my current insurers and cancelled. Called King Price and took the policy with them, went through details and at the final step, the monthly premium I get told I can’t get that premium. My premium will be R440 on a R4500 excess, nowhere close to the reason behind me cancelling my current insurance. Now the best they can do is R460 with a R2500 excess or R440 with a R3500. Is this even legal, why do these people toy with us and make empty promises? I want my initial quotation of R432 per month with a R2500 excess.</p>
