Lack of communication

I took insurance with king price and was advised to cancell with my previous insurer, they have not debited my account yet and I had an accident on 15 march , I logged a claim with king price on Monday after they towed my Car and they said they will be in contact. No body contacted me and I kept calling asking for a cartercy car and they kept on saying they will send an email to that department.on Thursday I Called again many times and after all their system breakdowns a lady told me I was not insured, then on Friday a guy called me and said I was not insured I should check with my previous insurance, which also says the same thing. I don't even know where my car is . Who is paying for storage and all. I am really heart broken because of this service I received aafter the sales consultant was so persuasive that I cancel my insurance and ensure with King Price. This is the most devastating thing I've ever delt with. Can somebody call me a nd advise on the next step. What going to happen? where is my car? , how do I get it?
