King Price.....a money making scheme

My husband has been a King Price Client from around the first 6 months that they started their company. A while back we wanted to change insurances and we were begged to stay with them because we had been with them almost since inception. Against his better judgment my husband chose to stay with them. We have had 2 vehicles insured with them. On the 5th of February my 18 year old son had an accident with my car. He had just started varsity and needed to use my car to varsity has his car that we had just purchased had not arrived as yet. King price was informed from the moment of the accident. Today on the 26th of February, 21 days after the accident we get told that our claim has been rejected on the grounds of me the regular driver of the car not using the car for work. I was fortunate enough to have to go to the office o the day that my son used the car and worked from home. I would love to know on what was this decision based as this is the only car I have and I drive it almost every day even when I am not working. Clearly King Price has looked high and low to repudiate this claim, but on the most absurd of statements. I have learned from this experience with them that I surance companies are only there to make money. My vehicle has been insured with them for 4.5 years and this is only the second claim that I have put in. On submission of both these claims they had failed to inform me of the vehicle hire option that I have. I have had to ask about it myself. I only realized I had it last week. So I spent 2 weeks without a car and they are happy to let you pay for a benefit that they never allow you to utilize. I am very disappointed in their service and manner in which I have been treated but rest assured that I will be going to the ombudsman to sort this out. I also would like to get the recording of the conversation that Mfundo had with me so that we can clarify when exactly did I say that I dont use the car for work. I could email them, but they never get back to you. By the way, I only got my rented car after a post on social media.
