King Price

I was hoping I would not have to write this review on hellopeter.com I chose King Price as an Insurance company based on the mostly positive reviews on hellopeter.com Unfortunately my experience was far from this. I chose to insure my Porsche 911 Carrera S with King Price. After having had an accident and reporting the accident is where my frustrations started. King Price took 4-weeks to investigate the incident, going as far as flying in a tyre specialist from East-London to attempt and see if they could reject the claim based on the tyre condition. May I remind you King Price - Your insurance policy terms and conditions only state that the tyres need to be within legal tread depth specification of 1mm all around the circumference. In addition to that, a full scale investigation into the accident , including voice recording, car-tracking details and giving my consent for King-Price to obtain all banking and other personal data further delayed my claims procedure. I informed the assesor that I am concerned that I may not have my car back by December , to which he was unapologetic and told me that that is not his concern. I am sorry King Price, although you have paid my claim, the experience left me very disappointed. I cannot continue to use you as my insurer as I am too uncertain of whether my future claims will be paid out or not. To add injury to the insult, I am now insured through a supercar specialist company and my premiums are over half of what my King Price's premiums used to be.

We are really sorry to hear you feel this way, our sincerest apologies for the negative experience. Please note that certain validations are required in order to finalise a claim hence they may take some time dependent on the case. Thank you for your valued feedback which has been sent to management in claims. With regards to the repairs unfortunately most panel beaters where closed over the Christmas period and this caused considerable delays in the turnaround times of all repairs.
