Hello mandiepelser111,

Thank you for your comment and allowing us the opportunity to respond. We confirm that Pierre van der Merwe from our claims department has been in contact with you and addressed all your concerns raised telephonically. He explained the policy terms and conditions as stipulated in our policy wording.

Furthermore we can confirm that the inventory done by the assessor Stephan at the risk address confirmed that you are indeed correctly insured and thus no under insurance/average will be app**** to your claim. Please remember that it remains the client's responsibility to make sure that he/she is correctly insured at all times. As per the telephonic discussion between your husband and Pierre van der Merwe he was informed that due to the new information regarding the judgment, your claim can unfortunately not be finalised by close business today as this will first have to be validated in full before a decision can be made on your claim.
We can however assure you that we are doing everything possible to finalise the matter as soon as possible.
Please don't hesitate to contact Pierre van der Merwe directly should you have any further queries.

Royal Regards

The Kings Court
