King Price rejected my claim for repairs to my car

My car was insured with King Price Insurance from 1 May 2017 to the last day of July 2017. Previously the car was insured with Outsurance from new (2008) to the last day of April 2017. I logged a claim with King Price Insurance on 28 July 2017 an hour after the car was damaged in an incident. No one was injured and no other car was involved. During the original telephonic conversation when I accepted the King Price Insurance quotation for insurance of the vehicle, I told King Price Insurance that my previous claim for losses was in 1995. However, there was a claim for minor damage repaired in 2016 of which the cost to Outsurance was only R3577,90. So for the period from 2008 to the end of April 2017 I only claimed once a small amount from Outsurance. I think this shows that I am a low risk customer for an Insurance Company. The questions were asked of me per telephone conversation with little time to think about it and I forgot to tell King Price Insurance about this small incident in 2015/2016 and only remembered a rather big incident in 1995. No one was injured and no other cars were involved in any of these incidents. The incident during 1994 or 1995 was well over R35 000 which is why I remembered that. The details were discussed over the phone out of memory and I had no chance to ponder very much over each question asked to me.

King Price Insurance informed me (on 14 August 2017) that because of this information not known to them, they quoted me a lower premium and that is the reason for the rejection of my claim now.

How could a lower premium be the reason for rejection of the claim?

What would the premium have been if King Price Insurance knew about this incident (paid in January 2016)? I left KING PRICE INSURANCE and my car is now insured with another firm. What role did this fact play in the decision to reject my claim?

Would King Price Insurance still have rejected the claim if my car was still insured by them? When I accepted the quotation of King Price Insurance to insure my car with them, they send me the following: Congratulations! You’ve made a royally superior choice! It gives my court and I great pleasure to welcome you as a newly crowned member of our royal family. We look forward to building a long lasting relationship with you and we’re confident that you, like so many others, will indeed be a very happy King Price client and friend. Contrary to the above it now seems to me that King Price Insurance intention is to use specific minor facts(that actually proves the low risk that I proved to be for Outsurance) to circumvent their responsibility to settle my insurance claim.
