King Price Insurance - Terrible!

I have had the most terrible experience with this insurance company,

Recently I got into a minor accident with my vehicle damaging the right front fender and scratching the wheel. I submitted a claim with these people, before an assessment was even done they told me my excess would be R31000, when I took out this insurance in January 2024 the understanding from them was that I would pay 10% of the claim or the damage,

My vehicle retails for R300k, now to fix a panel on my car they made my excess so high that it is impossible to claim through them, it seems that what King Price insurance does is they make your excess so high that you can never use them to claim anything except if your car is written off.

This really upsets me as I am a normal working person, a normal working person takes out insurance because they don't have thousands of rands of spare money for an accident, that is the main reason for getting insurance.

Now it seems that what King Price does is they make your excess so ridiculously high that you can just never claim from them unless your car is written off or something,

I am very disappointed with this company, I thought this was a reputable insurance company, only to find out that they rip people off as they can!

Now I am going to have to cancel with King Price insurance and I am going to have to find a reputable insurance company who does not try and de***** their clients, I believe I would also have to go and see a lawyer and try and get the last 9 months of payments back from them that I paid.

This is a real mess! please be careful when using this company, or be safe and rather not!
