King Price Insurance is a mickey mouse company - customer service sucks!!!!

Contacted King Price to log a claim on Saturday, 19 May 2018 regarding my vehicle and spoke to Caroline Sharp who informed me that in order to release the vehicle to the tow trucking company King Price would have issued an authorisation number? So she took down the details of the towing services and informed me that she would check on their side. Received an SMS from KP stating my claim was lodged on Saturday, 19 May 2018. Caroline Sharp contacted me on Thursday, 24 May 2018 stating that the tow trucking department can’t pick up any details and she wanted the tow truck details again which I gave to her on Saturday, 19 May 2018. She could have contacted me on Monday, 22 May to inform me of the situation and as a result I had to pay an amount of R17,000.00 on Friday 25 May in order for my car to be released and the assessor to view my vehicle. Over and above this I had to phone king price twice to inform them to pick up the vehicle and take it to their yard. Received an SMS on 25 May 2018 stating KP received my second Accident Tow Service. On the 25 May 2018 I signed a consent form allowing KP to access all the necessary information on my behalf. No acknowledgement of email. Received an SMS on 28 May 2018, Monday stating my vehicle was delivered safely as well as another SMS stating KP was still dealing with my claim. Received an SMS on 29 May 2018, Tuesday asking me to click on a link and rate KP service. On the 31 May 2018 I sent King Price the Accident report from Mondeor Police Station, no acknowledgement of email as well as the CASE Number. On the 31 May 2018 I sent KP the invoice from LTS Towing Services, no acknowledgement of email. On the 31 May 2018, I received a voicemail message to please contact Mershen Naidoo who is the accessor from King Price. Made contact with Mershen on 01 June 2018 and he wanted to confirm the mileage on my vehicle and he informed me that KP would contact me regarding the process. Received an SMS on Thursday, 7 June 2018 stating KP was still dealing with my claim. Spoke to Shakira at King Price 11 June 2018 and was informed all of a sudden that Caroline Sharp no longer dealing with my claim as she only deals with household contents claims and not vehicle claims – she was helping. Since when do consultants who are not trained to work on products deal with your claim, she should of handed the claim over to more suitably trained individual at the beginning. A lady by the name of Jane Desa was now dealing with my claim and she would contact me during the day. Shakira was able to inform me of the next step, the NATIS and SETTLEMENT LETTER from my bank still had to be requested and then only will it be sent to the manager for approval. On the same day at about 3pm I received an SMS from King Price as a reminder to please send through my accident report, resent it and was informed after calling KP that it was sent in error and they have all the information. The consultant informed me that they need to contact the other party to which I informed them that the document has the other party details. The consultant refused to come on the line and she did not return my call. I was informed that the team leader/supervisor is Beverley but "we don't need to involve her ask we can resolve this". I refused to put the phone down and eventually Jane took my call and she informed me she never got a message for her to call me back (don't you have recorded lines and a system to take down notes, don't you hand over information to other consultants dealing with the claim, do you not contact the customer to make sure you have all the documents in order to proceed with the request??? The consultant was able to put me through to Jane who asked me to please send her the Accident Report in order for them to contact the other party and get his details. When Caroline stopped working on the claim, why did she not hand over the information to Jane, this is normal operational processes??? She already sent a request to the bank to get a settlement amount and I needed to send her the details for the LTS towering services. I should receive feedback from her on Friday than she would send the claim to management and it then will take a further 14 business days. They will remove the amount I need to pay and then pay the bank and pay the excess to me. I had to extract this information from her as it seems like she never processed a claim before, its simple, What is your process and what is the next step??? Really shocking..... Called on Monday 18 June 2018 and spoke to Carla as Jane did not return my call on Friday as promised. Carla informed me that Jane nor the team leader was at their desk as they were on lunch at 10:30am, she told me that they do this rotation on Mondays so there are more consultants on the phone and she informed me that she would get Jane to call me back. Come the 20th of June and the second instalment for my car would have gone off my account and its a month since the accident and King Price is avoiding my calls. I was in a head on collision with back injuries and I had to run around to find my car, get accident reports and case numbers in order to facilitate the process but King Price does not give a damn about my trauma, anguish and over and above this I am subjected to further drama by an insurance company who hires people off the street with no professionalism and I wonder if they even hold any FAIS credits or RE qualifications. I need this matter to be resolved in order for me to get on with my life and move pass this but King Price is delaying and delaying. Based on my experience and what has happened to me, I am now forced to take this matter to the Financial Services Board. It just sucks, I have been with King Price for about 3 years no issues with my debit orders but now when you have an issue they don't even pick up the phone to inform you what is going on....................................... How do you even expect to remain in business when this is what your customers have to go through???
