King Price insurance

I joined King price recently. I was impressed to see my insurance drop from time to time. BUT then I needed to claim because someone stepped right through the bath. The bath was built in about 12 years ago by some contractor. I told them that it was an urgent matter and the assessor took almost a week to come. Another 5 days later they contacted me to say that they are not going to pay because of poor workmanship (12 years ago !!) I wonder what would happen if my house would collapse or burn down. Will they also have some excuse ? JUST NOT WILLING TO TAKE THAT CHANCE !! Will you ?
