King Price falsely insures and refuses to pay back premiums

I took out my insurance policy in February 2020 At least four phone calls between King Price and myself for me to confirm all queries to ensure no non-disclosure and that claims would be paid I explicitly asked numerous times with various different wording whether I would be insured on the racetrack for my motorbike. I was told 'Yes' every single time I gave the consultant the option to find out about my questions and call me back if he is not comfortable in answering The consultant called in his manager, who also confirmed all questions around my racing that I would definitely be covered I informed them that I only use my motorbike for racing and not on the road at all All of the above was recorded King Price called me yesterday, 07/04/2020 to inform me that they would be cancelling my policy because they don't cover racing They did listen to all telephonic conversations and confirmed with me that I was correct and that I was wrongly informed of my cover I requested them to repay all my premiums as I was falsely insured by no fault of my own, but purely because they were in the wrong. I also requested financial compensation for all the time it took me to instate the policy, as well as the time it would take me to now take out a new insurance policy I was called back and informed that they would not pay me back or reimburse me as requested My policy was now cancelled without me requesting the cancellation. They are still 'covering' me until end April to ensure they don't need to pay back pro rata premiums even though they know they won't pay out a claim.

Hi Ruan

Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience, our retention's department has discussed your policy with you and the reason for the cancellation. Unfortunately we are unable to insure the bike for racing purposes.
