King Price Dissapointment

Recently I was involved in a motor vehicle accident, my vehicle insurance is through King Price. In order to get my vehicle fixed I had to accept the fact that they were going to use alternative parts as opposed to the originals as this was the most cost effective way for King Price - despite my reservations regarding the use of alternative part. With accepting this King Price assured me over and over again that my vehicle would be fixed to the same standard and returned to me in the same condition as it was prior to the accident. Upon contacting them with a further problem which I have been experiencing with my vehicle due to the accident, all King Price can do now is claim wear and tear. The new standard answer from them. It is now apparently for me (for my own expense) to prove Kind Price wrong. They are easy to say prove them wrong and they will re-look and the issue. My argument is my car was knocked in the front , King Price worked on the front radiator ,water etc Now that I am having water issues , and their report states its at the manifold which is in front they are saying wear and tear. Logic says , if impact was in the front and you repaired the front and there is still issues in the front you DID NOT REPAIR the car as promised.

I can prove King Price wrong , that car the never used water at all , I have witnesses, will this work . We pay high insurance premiums and they never battle to get their monthly instalments, but when you actually need assistance for a matter that is related to the accident they can't or won’t help.

Hi Nicci

We’re just so sad to hear about your negative experience. We do our best to give every single client personalised, royal service, and we’re so sorry that you feel we let you down. Our assessors have been in contact to discuss and unfortunately the internal leak in question is not as a result of the accident/impact damage and this has been confirmed in a report from the repairer.  Below an excerpt from the report  :

'' During our diagnoses no exterior leaks where noted, further checks show signs of water in the intake manifold. There is an integrated inter-cooler inside the intake manifold and we are of the opinion that this unit is leaking. because this unit is concealed and no impact areas are on the intake manifold on can only assume that the fault is wear and tear.''

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact King Price directly.

I have to say that this is not WHAT KING PRICE OFFERED and you are working on assumptions. Prior to the accident this was not the case and my vehicle never used water in anyway and now after the accident the vehicle is using water, I WAS TOLD I CAN PROVE THIS AND HAVE WITNESSES, SEEING KING PRICE WORKS ON ASSUMPTION. King Price is fully aware that the full impact of the accident was in the front of my vehicle and this is where the intake sits. OEM Parts and fixes where done and app**** to this area. And after receiving the vehicle back, I now have issues which I never had before.

King Price is acting on assumptions and OPINION because of this I am now the loser PAYING INSTALLEMENTS ON 2 CARS WITH KING PRICE – this is unfortunately not Royal Service by any standard, as the promises made by King Price was to have the vehicle back in the same condition prior to the accident YOU ARE ACTING SCRUPULOUS
I will need to go to the ombudsman IF YOU PERSIST TO TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS
