King price **** against single moms

<p>King price increased my premium because I am divorced and a single mother...despite their premiums going down month on month. So the premium goes down monthly but then they hit you with an annual increase??? The consultant explained that statistically I am at a higher risk than someone who is married because I spend more time out of my home - imagine that - I raise 2 kids on my own and I am out jolling while married people are at home. I asked their actuarial department to call me to explain the rationale and figures behind their data and to date I have received no feedback. Suffice to say I moved away from this discriminating company. I emailed my complaint in writing and they have not bothered to respond. I am now it PPS insurance who gave me a better premium than king price.</p>
