KING PRICE DISCRIMINATES AGAINST DEBT REVIEW
I have just been notified by my vehicle and household insurer King Price, with whom I took up cover before going under debt review, that they cannot insure me anymore.

This is because yesterday I called to have some items added to my insurance policy and they asked me if I was or am under debt review, to which I honestly answered yes.

They then not only declined to insure me for the item I enquired about but also revoked all my current insurance.

Since my insurance was taken out before I went under debt review, I feel unfairly discriminated against and will be pursuing the matter further with the Ombudsman.

It is completely disgraceful and ********* of a Insurance Provider to behave in this manner, basically discarding you as a client and dismissing your business simply because you are under debt review.

Debt review is viewed by most in the industry as a positive and responsible course of action which should never affect your credit record or ability to obtain insurance.
