KING PRICE/CABS - NEVER AGAIN! SHOCKING!
On having had insurance with King Price for a month I opted by add in the King Cab option. What a mistake. I used them for the first time on Saturday night and got information prior to that as to how to use them. I was told I could amend the time up to two hours beforehand. My daughter booked them for 2.00am, but when she called at 10.00am to change the time, she was told they couldn't help her! No let me see what I can do - no! we can't assist you - we have no teams! Even on trying the ER assist - they were told they couldn't help! This to an 18 year old! Where is your level of EQ - let alone your service! I will be looking at taking my insurance elsewhere, as I have no confidence you will be able to assist in an emergency! Then to add to it all - when going through my policy document recently I discovered that I have an additional premium added on if I claim within three month's! I think this is an important enough term in the policy to have notified me telephonically! I don't have this liability on any other vehicle policies I have with other companies! when connecting with a supervisor in the call centre to query this, may as well have been talking to a brick wall!
Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience of not being able to change the collection time, regrettably there where no teams available at the time prior to collection time hence Kings cab was unable to change the collection time to earlier as this was during peak times. The original arrangement was for collection to be at 2am. Emergency assist was not able to assist as this was not an emergency situation and they are unfortunately not a cab service hence they where not able to assist in this instance.
Please note that an excess additional to your basic is applicable if you claim within the first 3 months of your policy this is noted in your policy schedule.
