KING PRICE

I had made a claim with King Price for a motor vehicle accident. the claim was repudiated based on their report as material misrepresentation as I according to them did not have continuous vehicle insurance. I did inform them telephonically that I had insurance previously. when the claim was made they expected me to provide proof which was not what was told to me. if they had asked me telephonically prior to writing me up I would have told them that I did not have the information. it was assumed that the company will find out this information themselves as it minimises their risk prior to selling insurance. also to ensure that the right premium is quoted. king Price are cheats, they lure you in on the pretence that you will get reduced premiums but when it comes to pay out they will try any trick in the book to not pay out. I had to do all the research to try and find my previous insurers and re-submit via the Short Term ombudsman's office.<br> <br> Their investigator a also very biased. he tried to trap us on many occasions by putting words in our mouths and not doing enough research to get the information.<br> <br> I had to do all the investigation and he got paid. **********
